Money helps to pay bills, buy clothes, fuel for the car, and pay for various insurances. There is a feeling of security when there is a large sum of money in my bank account. When the dollars start to dwindle in my bank account I start to panic and become anxious. So, what do you do? Do you push God away and fearfully chase the next opportunity to make a few hundred dollars? Or do you dig deep to realize you have trusted in money instead of God and then repent? Or maybe you freeze because you don’t know what to do and feel weighed down? Prov. 12:25[1] Let us take heed, “For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Tim. 6:10[2]” Rather let us, “ Store up for ourselves treasures in heaven…” ”… for where your treasure is there your heart will be also.”
